In This Role YOU will:
In addition, the Lead Technical Library & Records has authority and shall:
- Assist the Technical Library & Records Specialist in maintaining all satellite library locations and other library related duties as necessary.
- Assist the Supervisor Technical Library & Records in reproduction and mailing to manual holders, revisions to Pensacola Aerospace Repair Station & Quality Control Manual, Pensacola Aerospace Policy and Procedure Manual, Pensacola Aerospace Repair Station Training Manual and the Pensacola Aerospace Quality System Manual.
- Assist in training and assigning clerical activities of the Aircraft Records office.
- Assist Supervisor Technical Library & Records to ensure all operations are performed within the guidelines set forth by all government agencies (i.e. FAA, EPA, OSHA, etc.), as well as the applicable operators’ procedures.
- Ensure that all assigned personnel adhere to safe practices and keep a clean work area.
- Continuously monitor work progress of assigned tasks in Library and Records. Keeping the Supervisor Technical Library & Records always appraised of the status, particularly on jobs which are off schedule.
- Ensure all assigned personnel maintain, distribute and process all manuals, and technical documents to satisfy library requirements i.e. Maintenance Manuals, Certificate Data Sheets, Customer Technical Manuals, etc.
- Perform such other work as delegated by the Supervisor Technical Library & Records as required.

Good working knowledge and ability in the following:
The ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, by presenting ideas and giving instructions/guidance to subordinates, co-workers, and outside agencies in a manner that instructions are carried out and requested information is obtained; ability to motivate and lead a staff or team of subordinates to obtain goals, higher productivity, and quality work; the ability to delegate and prioritize work effectively, creatively and persuasively. Job applicant must possess a high level of computer skills with programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP, Convergence LMS. Ability to put together training plans, presentations, talking papers, etc.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Climate controlled office / classroom environment but not limited to this environment.
SUPERVISION:
Performs duty assignment at his or her discretion and is limited only by policies set by administrative or regulatory authority. Total end results determine the effectiveness of job performance.

PHYSICAL ENVIORNMENT:
Essential responsibilities are performed in a climate-controlled office but not limited to the office. Must be able to cope with stress due to the pressures of accomplishing set goals, meeting short deadlines, maintaining numerous projects simultaneously, employee confrontations and long work hours.
What YOU Need:
- High school diploma or GED required. Some job-related courses are preferred, i.e. typing, bookkeeping, and computer science.
- 3 years in related field; 1-year supervisory experience required
