- Manage business unit in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety
- Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards
- Team management of salaried employees
- Provide professional leadership
- Influence policy and ensure delivery within area of responsibility, linking with other parts of the organization
- Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services
- Lead others to find creative solutions within complex manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles
- Employ sophisticated operational/product management, manufacturing or engineering techniques
- Interact with adjacent functions needed to solve issues
- Present business or technical discipline solutions to leaders
- Communicate complex messages and negotiate mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view
- Influence peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment)
- Minimum of 5 additional years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
