The Maintenance Manager reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day safe and quality orientated operations of the 145 repair station pertaining to the civilian aircraft (Jet, Turboprop & Piston) serviced by Stevens Aerospace and Defense LLC in Ohio. This includes P&L, work scope determination and quoting, budget control, growth development, staffing and training requirements, and profitability of the Maintenance Department. The position requires a dynamic and energetic individual with a high level of motivation and Customer Service orientation. A high level of understanding of the regulations pertaining to MRO operations such as FAA 145 Repair station, FAA 135 Aircraft Operations, FAA Directives and Rules, OSHA Laws & their application, EPA Laws & their application, and Human Resource considerations is required. Experience in MRO business management in the actual performance of aircraft maintenance, customer management, coordination & interaction is vital. Savvy computer knowledge and experience is required to update the Corridor work order system by customer project and interact with the sales team via Salesforce on a daily basis. The position calls for an individual that is dedicated and can be counted on to respond to potential or established customers and other departments at regular, off duty and at irregular hours. The position requires strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills. Interaction with Internal & External Customers, Technical Service Representatives, Vendors, Government Entities, aircraft manufacturers representatives, aircraft brokers, sales representatives, other Stevens Aerospace Department Managers, technicians and mechanics is required on a daily basis.
