The Opportunity

The Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services team are looking for the next Maintenance Management System (MMS) Support Specialist to assist with MMS support across MRO Supported Aircraft Programs. The position, whilst supports multiple locations, is located at RAAF Base Amberley, QLD.

The Maintenance Management System (MMS) Support Specialist is responsible to provide ongoing system and tool support. This includes MMS improvements and enhancement management, training development and delivery, and becoming an MMS SME to provide assistance and problem solving to MMS users.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out any MMS testing of improvements and enhancements to ensure they meet both customer, system and appropriate regulatory requirements
  • Be in contact with MMS users to support and rectify process or system issues, and provide timely assistance as required.
  • Organise and deliver appropriate training as required.
  • Interface between the MMS users and IT to ensure the MMS is functioning as required and to prioritise any updates or improvements.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Able to act as a mentor for system users within the workplace to help resolve issues and problems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to continually improve system processes through feedback, problem solving and idea generation
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Able to speak, read and write fluent English
  • Previous experience using computer-based maintenance management systems such as CAMM2, cMRO or other computer-based MMS
  • Understanding of CASA/EASA and/or DASA maintenance requirements.
  • A knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office products.
  • Willingness to learn new computer-based systems.
  • Be able to support, develop and deliver workforce training
  • Knowledge of aircraft operation and maintenance procedures.
