Job Description:
- The Maintenance Operations Manager shall possess a background in the field of aircraft
maintenance and material support with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience within the last Twenty
(20) years in direct aircraft maintenance repair, inspection, and modification.
- Of the ten (10) years experience in aircraft maintenance, six (6) years shall be in a supervisory position that included
responsibility for assigning program workloads as well as duties for entire shifts.
- Of the six (6) years, a minimum of one (1) year shall be in a maintenance/production control position.
- The most recent five (5) years must have been supporting and maintaining fighter aircraft.
- The Maintenance Operations Manager must be knowledgeable of application of Technical Directives and COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2(series)
and be knowledgeable of supply procedures.
- The Maintenance Operations Manager shall oversee all day to day maintenance performed IAW with this PWS to include all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
