Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor ( 2nd Shift)
Department: Test Cell
Reports To: Test Cell Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The basic job function is to oversee the daily operation over his/her respective areas. Additional responsibilities include:
- Working with assigned lead to ensure projects achieve top quality work and milestones are completed on time.
- Ensuring company and FAA procedures and policies are followed.
- Ensuring that work productivity is satisfactory.
- Monitoring crew personnel for attendance.
- Keeping a clean, safe workplace at all times. Recommending improvements to increase performance, quality, etc.
- Reporting any problems affecting projects to the Manager.
- Ensuring that personnel are following instructions and performing tasks in a safe, efficient manner.
- Ensuring that waste materials, oils, fluids, etc. are handled correctly
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the position requires the following:
Required Qualifications:
- Must have at least 1-year experience in a Test Cell environment and verified by adequate training records.
- Must hold at least an FAA Powerplant License.
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalency
- Must hold a valid US driver’s license
- Must be adept and proficient on the use of technical data/manuals.
- Must be available for flexible hours and weekends
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must have a positive and professional attitude, good leadership skills and work well with others under minimal supervision.
- Must be a self-motivator and have competent problem solving skills.
- Must have a good attendance history
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Must have the ability to read, write and understand spoken English.
- Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Must have the ability to understand verbal and written instructions
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stand, walk, talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Indoor and outdoor maintenance environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
