ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the formulating and coordinating of all maintenance operations on all shifts within the facility. Directs and plans and is responsible for the activities of the maintenance department and actively works with operations, engineering and Safety on facility and equipment improvements.

  • Plan direct and control the operations involved with heat, power and electricity to the facility.
  • Direct and plan the efforts of diversified functions such as; General Building Maintenance, Machine Repair, Machine Rebuild, Electrical, Machine Development, Safety and Environmental controls.
  • Directs and plans the installation of new equipment and relocation of existing equipment.
  • Coordinates contracts, working conditions and other requirements between company and outside contracting personnel.
  • Directs and plans the activity of the Maintenance Department.
  • Confers with customers and representatives of associated industries to evaluate and promote improved and expanded services in area.
  • Develops plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.
  • Recommends budgets to management.
  • Directly supervises 2-4 non-supervisory maintenance employees.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization&39;s policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Understands company policies and enforces safety regulations.
  • Safely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tag out procedures and wearing PPE as required.
  • Maintains a strict schedule in order to be successful in the assignment, yet demonstrates flexibility in the day-to-day activities and scheduling for the benefit of the site
  • Other duties as assigned by Director of Operations

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree: or two to three years related experience and/or training.
  • 2-3 years project management experience; industry experience a plus.
  • Exceptionally strong spoken and written communication skills. Must be able to interact and communicate effectively with vendors and contractors, interface with other departments, and present information to managers.
  • Solid prospecting abilities & excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Experience in the fastener or aerospace industries is preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Communication - Ability to communicate ideas, data both verbally and written, in a persuasive and appropriate manner.
  • Relationship Building - Ability to make and maintain client and prospect contact.
  • Organization - Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records of appointments, calls, follow-up calls, samples, etc.
  • Time Management - Ability to set priorities and workflow to accomplish day to day tasks in a timely manner.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to use all functions of Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $93,900 to $140900 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company&39;s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
