Job Title: Aviation Maintenance Training Manager
Job Description
The Training & Development Specialist is responsible for managing the training department’s processes and procedures, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking of training for operations. This role includes maintaining both paper and electronic training records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist in allocating training personnel to meet company goals.
- Manage data input in the DFW Training Program system for accuracy.
- Use needs analysis tools to determine training plans based on business needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor strategic company and department initiatives.
- Ensure training courses and materials are current with GES DFW and customer requirements.
- Interface with facility management to support training needs.
- Act as an instructor to support DFW training needs.
- Conduct an annual review of the training program to ensure relevance and accuracy.
- Evaluate and develop corrective/preventive actions for identified departmental deficiencies.
- Utilize Continuous Improvement (CI) Tools to enhance training processes.
- Prepare monthly reporting metrics for the training department.
- Work with confidential data to safeguard the privacy of GES DFW employees.
- Develop staff to ensure compliance with the DFW Training Manual.
- Perform audits of the DFW Training Program to ensure regulatory compliance.
Essential Skills
- A&P License, FAA A&P License
- Experience with Part 121 operations
- Experience with Part 135/145 operations
- Aviation Maintenance Training Experience
- Familiarity with FAA Requirements
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related instructional field.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with a diverse group of people.
- Knowledge of course delivery using approved methods and regulations.
- Strong computer skills for business software and equipment.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (10).

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
