Job Overview : Manager is responsible forthe day-to-day Cabin Crew operations.
Candidate should be experienced in Wide Body Aircraft only. He /She is an inspiring leader and a role model responsible for Developing, Leading and implementing strategies in Cabin Crew Operations and drive excellence in therespective unit by promoting efficiency and best results at the Base. He /She needs to ensure that dailyoperations at IFS are carried out effectively as per the stipulated standards and also drive peak performancewith the Cabin Crew and their team Responsibilities and Duties
a) Act as a duty in-charge (as may beapplicable) Ensure cabin crew reports in time o Crew has performed mandatory pre-flight medical checkrequirements, Share any critical operations related updates and special briefings as may be required, Operating Crew is in possession of mandatory documents and recent circulars
b) To ensure cross departmentalfunctions and work in collaboration with operational departments (Crew Control, Crew Scheduling, Training,Catering, etc.) to provide input on issues such as flight delays, roster needs, technical issues. Ensure these areeffectively communicated and understood by crew and also by the team members
c) Total accountability indriving efficiency in the Briefing cycle and achieve the expected KPI
d) Consistently driving towards improvingOTP and weekly performance numbers
e) To consistently deploy and implement all new projects and initiativesto support operational and changing business needs
f) Provide leadership to the Inflight Services Team (ForCabin Crew) by ensuring strategy and future direction is communicated and followed
g) Take completeownership for implemented and evaluated new SOP’s and Projects
h) Liaise with all departments in IFS and allrelevant partner departments and practice collaborative thinking to drive strategies and projects
i) Driveperformance based platforms like PEP, Grooming and Behavior Management system j) Be part of crossfunctional delegations and take up new responsibilities
k) Set KRAs for attendance statistics and ensureaccountability for achieving these results and implement effective solutions for your respective team (Sickness,Absences, Code of Conduct etc.,)
l) Support and promote a culture of safety and security within the In-FlightServices Department;
m) Ensuring all costs are kept within IFS department budget and align with companygoals
n) Offers recommendations and assistance to Manager in relation to the development of departmentalmanuals, in line with the changing needs of the business
o) Acts as a deputy for the Base Head or Managers intheir absence in all aspects relating to Cabin Crew Operations
p) To be on-call when required to make highlevel decisions to minimize operational disruption whilst taking into consideration of crew welfare
q) Driveoptimization and team utilization by planning effective rosters and ensuring Crew traffic are covered andminimize any disruptions
r) Foster self-learning attitude and show efforts in enhancing self-skillset
s) Ensure byself or via team that Flight reports are filled in time by their respective base leads
t) Additionally, he/she wouldbe responsible for safety related duties as defined for IndiGo personnel in safety policy, Section 9 of OPM,
Interpersonal Skills a) Able to drive objective based discussion b) Exhibit strong written and verbalcommunication skills c) Excellent understanding of Standards and Procedures d) Well-developed analyticaland problem solving skills e) Excellent project management skills and able to develop Management reports f)People management and Leadership skills g) Should to be excellent at MS Office: Excel/ MS Word/ PowerPoint h) Excellent command of the English language – Written and Spoken
