Role Summary
We are looking for an Assistant Manager/ Manager who will bridge hands-ondesign, research practice with delivery ownership. This role demands someone who is AI ready and can independently drive medium-to-large projects, manage stakeholder expectations, mentor junior team members, and ensure design/research outputs align with business goals. Will play a pivotal role in setting vision, building capability, and ensuring design & research excellence that drives digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end delivery of design projects with measurable business outcomes (engagement, NPS, conversion, etc.).
• Translate insights into actionable design strategies that enhance human experience journeys.
• Guide and review the work of team members, ensuring adherence to design system and research frameworks.
• Partner with Product, Tech, and Business heads to co-create roadmaps and define success metrics.
• Facilitate workshops with cross-functional teams to align business, product, and design priorities.
• Support the Manager/Lead in preparing presentations, reports, and insightsfor senior leadership.
• Manage vendor partners/agencies when required to extend delivery capacity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Hands-on AI readiness for Design enhancement and co-creation.
• Expertise in UX strategy, user research, and digital product design.
• Strong proficiency in design and research tools (Figma, Analytics & survey platforms).
• Ability to churn out requirement with agility and quality.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience.• Ability to balance user-centric design/research with business requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in managing projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong storytelling and presentation skills for leadership forums.
Experience
• 6 to 10 years of experience in UX/UI design and UX research with at least 2 years in a people management role.
• Proven track record of managing digital product design independently.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or related field.
