About the role:
Reporting to the Divisional Vice President of Cabin Crew Training, the Manager Crew Training will be responsible for strategic development and delivery of comprehensive, impactful learning programs that enhance Cabin Crew performance across Service Delivery, empowering them with technical skills and a professional mindset for career progression and leadership growth. This includes leading advanced training initiatives, aligning programs with the Emirates Hospitality Strategy, integrating innovative training technologies, and ensuring continuous improvement to meet operational needs.
What you will do:
Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation in training approaches and tools to keep Emirates at the forefront of the industry in terms of training excellence. Stay abreast of global trends in aviation and hospitality training to introduce fresh ideas and ensure that Emirates training programs remain cutting-edge and competitive.
Learning Program Design and Development: Lead the design and development of advanced Cabin Crew training programs, ensuring alignment with Emirates Hospitality Strategy while addressing the evolving needs of the business and crew members. Oversea the development and implementation of a comprehensive curriculum that integrates both technical service delivery and soft skills, ensuring a balanced focus on career progression, leadership capabilities and exemplary hospitality.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior management and key stakeholders to ensure all training initiatives support the business objective and aligned with performance standards. Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure training programs meet the diverse needs of Cabin Crew members.
Leadership Development and Succession Planning: In collaboration with L&T, design and implement leadership programs that prepare Cabin Crew for future roles, fostering continuous growth through mentorship and development pathways while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and future workforce needs.
Program Evaluation and Reporting: Oversee the development and implementation of metrics and evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness and impact of training programs on crew performance. Review and deliver insights on training outcomes and learners feedback to the management, ensuring data-driven improvements.
Budget Management: Oversee the budget for training programs, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and maximizing ROI on training investments.
Talent Management and Retention: Support talent retention efforts by ensuring that training and development opportunities contribute to career satisfaction, engagement, and long-term loyalty among Cabin Crew and trainers.
QualificationTo be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Completed Degree or Honors (12+3 equivalent) preferably in Business, Training & Development, Human Resources, or any other relevant field of study.
- 10+ years of experience in In-Flight Services / In-flight Administration and Training & Development in the service industry or a global leading airline.
- Experience leading and managing teams and inspiring confidence.
- Ability to facilitate change and transformation initiatives.
- Ability to building trusted relationships with executives.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to translate business needs and strategic direction into value-creating solutions.
- High level of customer service skills.
