ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Payroll Manager to lead our AMER Payroll team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the team, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, and overseeing all payroll-related activities. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll regulations and best practices, as well as excellent leadership and organizational skills.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Supervise and manage the AMER Payroll team, providing guidance and support to team members.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees within the AMER region.
• Develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of payroll-related reports and filings.
• Manage the payroll checklists and ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to address payroll-related issues and provide solutions.
• Conduct regular checks of payroll processes to identify and address any discrepancies or areas for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Work closely with the Global Operations team and the General Ledger (GL) team to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes.
• Provide training and development opportunities for payroll team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

About your skills:

• 7+ years’ experience of HR related disciplines with 5 years in a HR Operations environment.
• 7+ years’ experience in managerial roles which required interactions with senior management.
• Experience working in a complex international/multi-cultural and fast moving environment.
• Sound HRIS management (reporting audit database management) is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business human resources organizational psychology or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and best practices within the AMER Geo
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English and Spanish and additional language would be a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification.
• Experience with multinational payroll processing.
