Tasks
The Manager Handling is responsible for:
- Management of handling processes at the stations in the geographical area in compliance with all relevant directives
- Responsibility for organizing and opening new stations in the geographical area according to related LCAG standard
- Implementation of regional or local measures meant for the support of the worldwide Handling strategy. Assures continuous process improvements within export and import cargo services in the geographical area
- Management of necessary interfaces with airport, customs and other relevant external authorities
- Manages, encourages, guides and evaluates his/her team members, this includes agency staff contracted by LCAG
- Plans and manages economical utilization of all manpower to maintain defined service standards
* Performs all other duties assigned or delegated by superiors
Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need a combination of the following qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required
- College degree/vocational training required
- At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the logistics or airline industry
- Adequate knowledge of LH Cargo’s processes and organization. Alternatively, good knowledge of comparable international airline/ logistics industry structures
- Fluency in English and Korean language required
- Advanced professional operations know how and skills in an airline or logistics environment
- Proficient in MS office, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Excellent problem solving
- Excellent responsibility
- Willingness to travel
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Manage constant time pressure
- Manage high stress levels
- Outdoor weather conditions
