We are seeking a Manager Workplace Strategy & Infrastructure Projects to lead the development of our future headquarters, state-of-the-art hangars, and mission-critical aviation facilities, while shaping how and where work happens across our organization.
Your Mission
You will lead the execution of a bold real estate and workplace vision across our Belgian and African operations—turning strategy into spaces that enhance productivity, collaboration, and sustainability. From strategic planning to stakeholder alignment, you will guide some of our most impactful projects and establish a robust Project Management Office (PMO) for consistency and excellence across our portfolio.
Your tasks
- Long-term workplace strategy and design standards across HQ, hangars, and leased outstations.
- Development of Brussels Airlines’ new headquarters and modernization of aircraft maintenance infrastructure.
- Project lifecycle management from feasibility through commissioning, with up to 80M CAPEX in 2026–2031.
- Close collaboration with Brussels Airport Company, project developers, and local authorities.
- Steering of external project managers, internal experts, and cross-functional project boards.
- Project governance through a Group-aligned PMO, driving transparency and performance.
Your profile
- A strategic real estate and infrastructure leader with a degree in architecture, engineering, or similar.
- 7+ years of experience in complex, regulated environments (aviation, infrastructure, corporate real estate).
- Proven success delivering workplace and infrastructure projects at scale.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, including Brussels Airport and public authorities.
- Strong grasp of FIDIC, permitting, and legal construction frameworks.
- Fluent in English, with working proficiency in Dutch and/or French.
