Norwegian is a leading Nordic aviation group headquartered in Fornebu, Bærum. The company has over 8,200 employees and owns two of the leading airlines in the Nordic region: Norwegian Air Shuttle and Widerøes Flyveselskap.
Widerøe was acquired by Norwegian in 2024, with the goal of offering customers seamless travel across the airlines networks. Widerøes Flyveselskap is Norways oldest airline and has more than 3,500 employees.
The Norwegian group is a driver of sustainable solutions and continuously works to reduce its own emissions. Among several initiatives, investment in the production and use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) is the largest focus. Norwegian aims to become the sustainable choice for passengers and contribute to the green transformation of aviation.
