Job Summary

The Manager, Aftermarket Distribution & Warehousing is a customer support management position responsible for oversight of all after-sale spare parts warehousing operations, order fulfillment, part returns and supplier warranty reconciliation support. This position manages the external distribution network of Cirrus warehouses responsible for all spare parts storage, logistics, part returns and core returns from the field. Expansion of the distribution network will be a key aspect of this role, requiring analysis of market needs, fleet size, customer locations and maintenance facility requirements. Experience with inventory control, ERP/WMS, warehouse operations and supplier interaction are mandatory for this position. As our fleet grows, this area of our business grows also, and is critical in keeping our authorized service center network supplied with spare parts and accounts credited accurately.

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Lead daily operations of distribution and warehousing functions including inventory control, order fulfillment, and logistics.
  • Manage warehouse supervisors, staff, schedules, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align supply chain operations.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for improved efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operations and personnel.
  • Oversee transportation and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/WMS.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse and distribution operations.
  • Prepare reports and analysis for senior management on warehouse performance, issues, and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or distribution, with at least 2 years in management/supervisory role.
  • Certification in logistics or supply chain (APICS, CSCP, CLTD, SCM, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, best practices, and logistics systems.
  • Experience with international shipping and customs compliance.
  • Experience with lean warehousing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience with ERP and WMS systems (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed, actionable decisions.
  • Knowledge of health & safety standards within warehouse operations.
