Position Summary The role of a Cloud and Data Center (DC) Infrastructure Manager is critical in ensuring the seamless operation, security, and continuous improvement of an organization’s cloud and data centre environments. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, managing technical solutions, and aligning infrastructure capabilities with business needs.
Key Accountability- Manage the daily operation of the Cloud and DC Infrastructure to meet MAG business demands. Provide feedback, direction, and advice on technical solutions related to MAG Cloud Infrastructure.
- Coordinate with other operational teams and maintain open communication with business user management to keep them informed of operational situations that may impact their areas.
- Provide consultation and industry-standard solutions to business users regarding the operation of the MAG Cloud Infrastructure. Manage business user requirements in Change Requests (CR) activities.
- Create and maintain documentation for MAG Cloud and DC Infrastructure activities according to MAF IT standards and operating procedures.
- Ensure continuous and uninterrupted operation of the MAG Cloud and DC Infrastructure. Manage continuous improvement activities, contract administration, and project implementation (installation & configuration) within targeted response times.
- Lead Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and simulation exercises, ensuring proactive planning for necessary actions.
- Re-engineer and redesign Cloud and DC Infrastructure with a multi-cloud approach to enhance design, operations, and security.
- Lead and motivate project teams by setting clear goals, providing guidance and support, fostering a collaborative work environment, ensuring cost-efficiency through budget adherence, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
- Adapt to shifting project requirements while minimizing their impact on scope and schedule.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, project plans, and lessons learned and implement testing and quality assurance throughout project lifecycle
- Track project performance and generate regular reports on key metrics.
Qualification & Working Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering, or a related field
- Azure and AWS certification, PMP and ITIL will be advantage
- Minimum 10 years of experience in operating and managing DC or Cloud management, with a 3 year in managerial position
Areas of ExperienceExperience in an aviation industry related would be an added advantage.

- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices. Able to run project using hybrid methodology (mix of waterfall and agile methodology) - would be added advantage
