Job Description:

Barnes is looking for a dynamic and experienced HR technology leader who is innovative, collaborative and a problem solver to join our Total Rewards Team as our Manager, HR Digital Solutions & UKG Pro System Administrator. This is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for a full range of activities to ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence of our UKG System and HR Digital Solutions integrations including advancement of HR system process and design, configuration, maintenance of data standards, reporting and analytics to advance our talent management initiatives and improve organizational workforce performance. Acts as liaison between system stakeholders, process owners and outsourced managed services/support team in the execution of projects, project timelines and budgets.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Maintain detailed knowledge of UKG product suite with an awareness of opportunities to expand solutions and services.
  • Serve as internal UKG Pro System Administrator (Super Admin) and technical subject matter expert for the HR platform, including system enhancements and upgrades, upstream and downstream systems and processes, and third-party integrations.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand goals, elicit requirements, and conduct fit-gap analysis to develop highly effective solutions that are sustainable, scalable, and aligned with the HR/Companys strategy and digital advancement.
  • Liaise with vendors and coordinate project management related to Managed Services, Help Desk Support and system projects, implementations, etc.
  • Responsible for key vendor relationship management and oversight of external vendor partners including UKG and Managed Services/HRIS Help Desk Team/consultants. Oversight of all applicable annual, quarterly and monthly budgets and invoicing.
  • Support UKG Pro technical integrations and troubleshooting, including SSO and APIs with dedicated applications (i.e. PlanSource, HRSoft, ServiceNow, Dimensions, etc.).
  • Management of UKG SRs and Cases.
  • Support recurring annual HR projects involving UKG System (i.e., Performance Management cycle, Annual Merit Process, Open Enrollment, etc.) engaging/coordinating with external vendor partners, where applicable.
  • Provide technical support and ongoing maintenance for HRIS system including but not limited to Configuration, Security, and file/data transfers.
  • Responsible for integrity of employee data through regular audits and query generation and driving to resolution any data issues by working with applicable HR teams.
  • Analyze reporting needs and develop Business Intelligence reports and dashboards, within UKG, for internal customers.
  • Research, troubleshoot and resolve system, integration and interface issues and unexpected results. Engage vendor partners and escalate identified issues where additional technical support is required.
  • Recommend system design and configuration changes. Build, test, and implement changes in collaboration with HRIS Consultants.
  • Participate in HR projects involving future HRIS product implementations, integrations, new functionality, process improvement and related administration to streamline and improve efficiency and effectiveness. Conduct business analysis with key stakeholders and determine insourcing/outsourcing plan for most time efficient and cost-effective approach for project completion.
  • Support product implementations, UKG releases, and other technical projects, as assigned.
  • Identify training needs of end users and provide the necessary system and end user training, job aids and process documentation.
  • Work closely with the Director, Global Benefits & HR Digital Solutions in the future strategic direction of the application roadmap to identify future impacts/changes for global implementations.
  • Responsible for managing vendor and consultant relationships, ensuring metrics to monitor and manage their performance and accountability to critical project timelines.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years specialized UKG Pro implementation and configuration experience, required.
  • Experience with supporting and implementing projects with global, multi-site and distributed organizations, required.
  • Knowledge/Experience working with UKG WFM / Dimensions solution.
  • Able to manage complexity and multiple priorities.
  • Ability to understand, evaluate, and recommend changes to processes and technology.
  • Experience in HR systems architecture with sound understanding of data, functional interactions, and impacts to downstream systems.
  • Experience creating or maintain internal and external integrations.
  • Previous experience working through large data migrations due to acquisition, system implementation, or other large projects preferred.
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze data through analysis tools; BI experience required.
  • Previous experience in customization and dealing with Ulti Pro API is preferred.
  • Proven ability to apply end to end critical thinking & problem solving in a high demand, fast paced environment.
  • Experience in documenting complex processes/information and communicating in a clear and concise manner.
  • Advanced Excel and MS Office skills; Data Visualization tool experience, a plus.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in human resources, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
