Position SummaryRestore and maintain the serviceability of aircraft operating into Line Stations at Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia, in accordance with Company, CAAM and other regulatory requirements and to ensure contractual obligations under FTM
Key Accountability- Establish and maintain an effective organizational and administrative structure to support MABES functions across Peninsular and East Malaysia.
- Ensure that adequate provision, the efficient utilization and the proper maintenance of aircraft maintenance tools, equipment and facilities.
- Undertake preparation of annual and supplementary establishment, capital and operating budgets Peninsula and East Malaysia.
- Institute and maintain a system for accounting and billing of services and equipment rendered to MAB fleet. Ensuring all contractual Engineering obligations are provided to the MAB fleet.
- Monitor and Institute improvement in the daily performance, servicing, technical handling, routine maintenance and rectification of company line and customer aircraft in Peninsula and East Malaysia.
- Ensure all staff under his control is in possession of the correct skills, are given adequate training and are up-to-date on the latest methods, procedures and requirements.
- Undertake forecasting and recommending of manpower, spares and engineering equipment needs in Peninsula and East Malaysia to support the line aircraft taking into Account Company’s line stations need.
- Responsible of reporting aircraft notifiable defects to the Technical Services, Quality & Safety Department or relevant manufacturers for advice and corrective action.
- Ensure the general upkeep, record administration and availability of equipment/assets assigned to LM KLIA, Peninsula and East Malaysia.
Qualification & Working Experience- Degree in Engineering/Business Administration or other relevant studies.
Minimum 8 years’ experience in the airline engineering industry, with more than 5 years’ experience in leadership role in a Part 145 environment.
