POSITION PURPOSE
Manages all contract maintenance services for the Company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

- Monitors quality, compliance and regulatory aspects between the Company and third party maintenance providers including relationship management, technical issues, schedule conflicts, quality issues, etc.
- Develops requests for proposals outlining the scope of work, plus terms and conditions.
- Invoice approvals for OCM expense
- Identifies potential new contractors. For both supplemental staffing at republic stations and on call maintenance.
- Oversees vendor selection and evaluation.
- Provides contractors with the proper information to ensure that quality standards are met.
- Reviews the activities of vendors and its employees to ensure they are abiding by the terms of the agreement.
- Responds to cost and feasibility requests and obtains vendor quotations.
- Responsible for annual tooling purchases and standardization across republic locations.
- Budgets, performs ROI, and submits proposals of new and improved tooling.
- Manage department overseeing republic GSE including GPU, water sanitization, tugs, lifts, and water cabinets
- Responsible for repair, maintenance, and replacement of units.
- Manages vehicle fleet allocation of approx. 100 republic owned trucks, vans and cars.
- Works with supply chain to strategically source replacements annually
- Screens, interviews, and makes recommendations for hiring potential employees.
- Coaches and provides leadership, direction, motivation, and supervision of direct reports.
- Appraises performance, provides performance feedback, takes corrective actions and oversees training and development of staff.
- Fosters the Company’s core values and culture throughout the work environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.
- High school diploma or GED and five years experience in contract maintenance or related field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in a related area and additional years related experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
REASONING/PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
