What Will You Be Doing?

The Manager, Revenue Analytics oversees the staff, activities and resources of the Revenue Analytics team and reports to the Director of Ancillary and Revenue Analytics. The Manager and his/her team are responsible for the management, development, and enhancement of quantitative analytics for the Pricing and Revenue Management organization.

Essential Functions

  • Create and develop a team to drive data-driven decisions by the Pricing and Revenue Management team responsible for meeting “current day” business challenges and needs as well as developing and implementing the analytical tools, processes, and strategies of future PRM
  • Collaborate and build relationships across PRM to create and deliver actionable analytic solutions to drive precise action and maintain competitive advantage
  • Lead development of analytics platforms to drive ongoing data-driven improvement in total revenue performance via a customer-centric approach to price and offer optimization.
  • Architect the roadmap for and lead PRM data strategy, in alignment with organizational goals and objectives
  • Leverage and implement automation technologies for revenue capture, integrity, and generation through applied analytics
  • Work closely and build strong relationships with relevant partners throughout the PRM, commercial, and IT organizations to advance our roadmap
  • Develop prototypes and/or proofs of concept for Ancillary/PRM business process improvements and advancements
  • Prioritize incoming requests for developmental report changes and participation in new projects, and ensure that analysts are successful in their assignments
  • Manage evaluation of team members, including skill sets, skill development and regular reviews in line with department policies
  • Communicate to departmental and senior leadership key actionable insights on performance trends, roadmap, and business process opportunities in line with organizational goals

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Finance, Aviation Management, Business Analytics or related analytical field required; combination of education and relevant experience considered in lieu of degree requirement

· Advanced degree in one of above disciplines preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in airline analytics, ancillary revenue, pricing, revenue management, customer insights, retail analytics, and/or finance
  • 2+ years of vendor/external partner management preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of airline commercial metrics, economics, network design and revenue principles
  • Mastery of Excel and SQL, experience with Python/R (or similar), experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc)
  • Excellent analytical and requirements gathering skills
  • Ability to efficiently summarize and report on business process effectiveness and roadmap progress
  • Ability to quickly identify revenue improvement opportunities
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Familiarity with airline operations and management principles preferred
  • Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
