Responsibilities

The Manager, Talent Management will lead the design, development, implementation, and execution of high-impact talent management programs that drive outstanding business performance at Spirit.

 

They will assist in designing and effectively implementing talent management solutions that enable Spirit to future proof it’s workforce by properly identifying skills and competences needed for the continuous advancement and improvement of the organization.

 

They will also partner cross-functionally with HR CoE’s to lead a variety of talent management programs and practices for the organization, including but not limited to performance management, talent review, succession planning, employee engagement, new hire onboarding and process improvement to enhance our current talent management strategy, while driving organizational effectiveness.

 

  • Lead holistic listening, Performance Management and Succession planning strategies.
  • Leverage and analyze existing Talent data and dashboards to identify existing skills and capabilities, identify gaps and retention risks, and partner with HRBPs, Talent Development and leaders as needed to address concerns.
  • Collaborate with leaders and HRBPs to forecast future skills needs and develop strategies and programs to meet those needs.
  • Identify development needs based on themes found in Talent data and collaborate with Talent Development so they identify solutions and programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of employees at all levels.
  • Design, support and conduct regular talent assessments and identify development plans for the advancement of different talent pools within the organization.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and Team Members on career development and succession planning.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in workforce planning and talent management and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Develop programs and tools to support Spirit’s talent strategy and business goals, including change management, organizational design, etc.
  • Design and maintain onboarding journey onboarding of new hires and newly promoted Team Members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Human Resources, I/O Psychology or similar field,
  • Master’s degree in I/O Psychology or similar field a plus.
  • 5+ years’ experience in organizational development/talent management capacity.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in time sensitive matters and organized to manage and track multiple priorities simultaneously – and be flexible and nimble.
  • Ability to use data to solve business problems and possess a high level of integrity, judgment, and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Proven track record of taking end-to-end ownership and driving results.
  • Strong detail orientation.
  • Track record of confidentiality.
  • Domestic & International travel under 10 of time.
  • Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies change in workload, rush jobs or technical developments).
