Responsibilities

The Total Rewards Communication and Experience Manager is responsible for creating and implementing communication strategies that promote Total Rewards within the organization. In addition to strong analytical skills, this role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders, including team members, leadership, and vendor partners. The manager will be tasked with developing impactful communications, content, and collateral to promote healthy behaviors and lifestyles among employees. A strong understanding of the healthcare industry and expertise in health-related topics such as nutrition, stress management, physical fitness, and mental health are essential. The Total Rewards Communication and Experience Manager will also lead workshops, organize events, and offer training programs to keep employees informed and engaged.

  • Design and implement effective communication strategies through various channels to promote Total Rewards and Wellness programs while ensuring alignment with brand standards.
  • Develop immersive wellness programs aimed at providing transformational experiences for employees. 
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to establish an annual wellness events calendar that complements organizational strategies.
  • Manage Total Rewards SharePoint content, keeping it engaging and on-brand.
  • Stay updated on Total Rewards communication trends and best practices, making recommendations for enhancements.
  • Implement workspace environmental changes to encourage healthy behaviors and enhance the employee experience. Evaluate the effectiveness of wellness programs, analyzing engagement data, and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Create comprehensive content and collateral for Wellness & Total Rewards initiatives, including various materials such as newsletters, presentations, and campaigns.
  • Utilize analytics tools to measure and track the impact of communication efforts on employee wellness and total rewards utilization.
  • Generate reports and provide insights on communication effectiveness, making adjustments for optimization to drive desired outcomes.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs, or technical developments).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years communication experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant practice area in a large organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communications, and message crafting skills.
  • Experienced in internal communications strategy and best practices with focus on what’s next.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint intranet design and use.
  • Skilled in graphic design/layout visual look and feel to emphasize messaging to align/communicate brand and culture.
  • Strong PowerPoint presentation skills to include content and style.
  • Strong attention to detail, time/project management and organization skills.
  • Builds and executes effective standard processes and metrics to track both process and results.
  • Able to gather and use relevant data to measure effectiveness, identify status, patterns, issues, trends.
  • Understands how to use data to develop solutions.
  • Shares data-based insights powerfully and simply to create shared understanding and commitment to action/solution.
  • Domestic and International travel approximately 25 of time.
