Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Multi-Functional
Manufacturing Planning Supervisor for a position
in Grand Prairie to work in the Production,
Planning and Controlling organization as a Leader
managing the Electrical Production Control Unit
Team. Duties include:
Coordinates interdepartmental activity with
quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing,
engineering, inventory control, traffic, contracts
administration, etc.
Schedules and expedites the movement of parts
by means of move orders, stock transfers and
requests for shipping orders.
Oversees management and staffing of 5+ direct
reports (represented hourly).
Work outside of the normal operating hours may
be required.
Manages more than one functional area in
Material, such as material planning and control,
material handling, stores management,
distribution, production control, and shop floor
support.
Responsible for coordinating subordinate
employee recruitment, selection, and training,
performance assessment, work assignments,
salary, time approval, overtime distribution and
recognition/disciplinary actions.

Basic Qualifications:
Must have or be able to obtain a security
clearance
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels
of management, industry peers, a represented
workforce and internal and external customers
Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer
systems, databases, and programs
Previous leadership experience
Understand the management of budgets
Related experience in material handling, control
systems and Enterprise Resource (ERP) systems
Desired Skills:
Experience supporting Material Management and
Accounting System (MMAS)
Black Belt trained / certified
APICS Certified in Production and Inventory
Management (CPIM) certification
Ability to understand engineering drawings and
parts lists
Knowledge of industry wide best practices and
processes for managing material flow
throughout the entire production supply chain
Inventory control and material handling
knowledge
Excellent communication skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
