As a Manufacturing Supervisor (Level 3) you will be responsible for supervision of 20+ hourly bargaining unit associates in C-130J Outer Wing.


What You Will Be Doing
As a Manufacturing Supervisor (Level 3) you will be responsible for:
• Implement process improvement through use of lean manufacturing. Drive enterprise excellence within work group through all activities and actions.
• Responsible for cost, schedule, and quality performance in support of business unit goals and objectives.
• Set priorities as required in support of meeting or beating production schedule.
• Interface with human resources and union stewards on personnel issues.
• Conduct investigations in support of problem resolutions as required.
• Attend numerous meetings throughout the day, sometimes working beyond the normal shift hours in support of operations objectives.
• Oversee, monitor, and document employee training, performance, and compliance.
• Adhere to company business practices/ethics policies and ESH standards.
• Effectively interface with a variety of internal and external customers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by manager.

Basic Qualifications:
• Previous supervisory &/or leadership experience.
• Aircraft Manufacturing &/or Aerospace maintenance experience.
Desired Skills:
• 3+ years aircraft production experience.
• Relevant degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Shop Floor Manager (SFM) experience.
• Experience in budgeting and staffing.
• Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably leading in a union environment.
• Capable of effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing efficiently.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally, in writing, and in group sessions as a member or leader.
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with technical, non-technical, and business staff at all levels.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite with the ability to learn additional computer systems.
• Proficient in Quality Action Document System (QADS).
• Familiarity with Global Information Systems.
• Knowledge of C-130 assembly.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
