Description:You will be the Manufacturing Supervisor for our team in Troy, AL, reporting to the Program Manager. Our team is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a work group, ensuring high-quality products, excellent performance, and on-time delivery.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented individuals, planning and assigning work, tracking performance metrics, and building effective relationships through teambuilding and recognition. You will also play a key role in ensuring a safe and inclusive workplace, and working closely with ESH to implement safety and environmental policies and procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and assigning work to teammates
- Tracking and documenting attendance and performance metrics
- Building effective relationships within the team
- Ensuring a safe and inclusive workplace
- Daily supervision of a work group/team
- Collaborating with ESH to implement safety and environmental policies

The Locale: Troy, Alabama is located in the East Gulf Coastal Plains region of southeastern Alabama. Troys climate is typical of areas along the Gulf of Mexico in that it has hot, humid summers and mild winters. Troy is a great place to live offering lots of things to do and has a small-town charm. Troy is also a college town and is home to Troy University. Where can you get to from Troy? Our facility in Troy is just under an hour south of Montgomery, Alabama. Troy is about 2.5 hours north of the Gulf of Mexico and Fort Walton Beach and Floridas Pan Handle. Troy is about three hours from Atlanta, GA.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requiresspecial access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/combined education
Must obtain an interim clearance prior to starting and have the ability to obtain a secret clearance
Working Knowledge of MS Office Software and Systems
Ability to manage cost, quality, and schedule metrics
**Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.
Desired Skills:
Two or more years of related experience
Manufacturing and/or defense industry experience
Ability to provide Leadership and obtain Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
Working knowledge and previous experience managing cost, quality, and schedule metrics.
Supervisory experience
Ability to maintain good employee relations within a team
Excellent oral, active listening, and written communications skills
Team building skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
