Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) who will be responsible for managing supply chain tasks in support of the Naval Standard Missile Systems (NSMS) production portfolio located onsite in Tucson, Arizona. As a Material Program Manager, you will be the liaison between the program and the supply base, working to ensure material requirements are met for a franchise production program.
The selected candidate will be a key member of a specific Hardware Management Team (HMT) as the supply chain lead, working to develop and support material strategies for key factories/value streams within the program. Key responsibilities to anticipate include the following: development and implementation of material strategies, developing material forecasts and estimates at complete (EACs), ensuring suppliers meet cost and schedule requirements, developing and implementing risk mitigation plans for material constraints, evaluating metrics to monitor the health of the supply base, and supplier assessments.

Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience
Experience in supply chain, operations, program planning, or another similar/related field
Active and transferable Secret Clearance U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain higher clearance level or program access prior to start date.
Qualifications We Prefer:
EVMS certification and/or prior CAM responsibilities
MPM Level 4 and/or PM level 7 certification
Master’s degree in business and/or project management
Experience in managing suppliers or projects
Experience leading or driving results in a cross-functional team environment
Experience in supplier or contract negotiations and/or conflict resolution
Experience with Special Access Programs and Office 365
Experience with Six Sigma methodology (CORE) and/or tools such as lean manufacturing, diagnostic, process optimization and continuous improvement
Experience with FAR/DFAR requirements, specifically as they relate to procurement and sub-contract management

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
