Ontic is a rapidly growing aerospace manufacturer, privately owned by a leading global private equity firm CVC Capital Partners.
The M&A Manager will be responsible for evaluating, executing, and integrating mergers and acquisitions (M&A). The ideal candidate is a driven self-starter with strong project management skills who can collaborate effectively with senior leadership and external stakeholders. The position offers the opportunity to be involved in high-impact projects across multiple areas, including M&A, spanet expansion, competitive analysis, and long-term corporate strategy. This is a high visibility role, with frequent exposure to senior leadership.
You will report to the VP, M&A and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, NC.
To be considered for the M&A Manager opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
- Must have BA/BS (Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, International Business, Engineering, etc).
- CPA, CFA, MBA, Masters in Accounting or working towards them is preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant professional and industry experience, including finance, accounting, consulting, investment banking, or other similar corporate experience
- Familiarity with financial statements and financial analysis
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and interpretative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly detail oriented
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a small, dynamic team in a fast paced environment
- Ability to interact with internal and external executives and investment professionals
As an M&A Manager, you will:
- Actively manage the company’s M&A pipeline, ensuring accurate tracking, timely progress, and achievement of targets
- Manage the identification, evaluation, selection, and monitoring of investment opportunities
- Build financial models and forecasts for potential targets and active deals
- Conduct industry, spanet, and competitor analysis
- Prepare briefing notes, spaneting material, and board papers for potential acquisitions
- Manage and coordinate the due diligence process for potential acquisitions (Including 3rd party vendors and internal stakeholders)
- Assist in post-acquisition integration planning and execution to ensure successful integration of acquired companies

Compensation Pay Range
$140,000- $160,000/year, based on experience
