The Boeing Company is seeking an early career, highly motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join the Environmental Sustainability team as a Mid-Level Sustainability Program Management and Partnerships Analyst in Arlington, VA; Chicago, IL; Mesa, AZ; Philadelphia, PA; Seattle, WA; Berkeley, MO; or Hazelwood, MO.

In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for running the partnering agreements process for our carbon reduction efforts, including sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and carbon solution partnerships. Additionally, you will provide program management support for the greater team, including reporting, KPI metrics and creating presentations or presenting to senior leadership. You will engage with commercial and government customers, SAF and carbon reduction partners, and other sustainability strategy efforts to support Boeing’s and the greater aviation industries goal of reaching carbon net zero by 2050.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage the partnering agreements process for the Boeing companys carbon reduction efforts, including SAF and carbon solution partnerships (NDAs, MoUs, Letters of Support, etc.)
  • Support ongoing commercial and government customer engagements, sustainability requests, and sustainability strategy efforts.
  • Lead program management work, including reporting, senior leadership presentations, and coordination with the greater Global Enterprise Sustainability (GES) organization.
  • Engage with customers and partners to ensure successful collaboration and partnership outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the implementation of sustainability projects
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to sustainability initiatives.
  • Track sustainability trends through benchmarking, attending industry forums, or conferences.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, sustainability, environmental science)
  • 1+ years of experience in program management, contract management, or related role
  • 1+ years of experience in Sustainability or related role
  • Experience with project management tools and software

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with carbon reduction strategies and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years related work experience, 10 years related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Summary pay range: $90,100 - $121,900
