Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Mid-Level or Senior Project Manager Specialist (Level 3 or 4) to join the BCA Supply Chain Business Operations, Warehouse Business Transformation team based out of Renton, Washington.

The BCA Supply Chain Business Operations team is looking for a project manager to lead The BCA Puget Sound Warehouse Business Transformation project under Fulfillment, Transportation, and Logistics. The dedicated special project team is leading key Supply Chain initiatives in support of 737 and Everett Fulfillment operations. Position Responsibilities:

  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.

  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.

  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.

  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.

  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.

  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.

  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of Project Management experience

  • 3+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools

  • 3+ years of experience communicating and collaborating directly with internal or external customers, peers, other employees, and all levels of leadership

  • 3+ years of experience developing and executing operating rhythms, integrated program schedules, project plans, and/or metrics

  • 3+ years of experience interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Experience in a Business Operations role, and/or related disciplines

  • PMP certification

  • Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals

  • Experience working in a multifaceted work environment, including managing multiple priorities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient knowledge of Fulfillment processes (ex. warehousing, parts distribution, etc.)

  • Experience in implementing software systems

Typical Education/Experience: 

Mid-Level (Level 3):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master+4 years related work experience, 10 years related work experience, etc.).

Senior Level (Level 4):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master+8 years related work experience, 14 years related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range (Level 3): $94,000.00 - $101,000.00

Summary pay range (Level 4): $116,000.00 - $125,000.00
