Job Title: Operations Manager - Service CenterJob DescriptionWe are seeking a qualified Operations Manager for a long-term opportunity in Portland, focusing on aviation service centers. This permanent role is ideal for individuals pursuing a stable career in the aviation industry, specifically within corporate aircraft maintenance.
Responsibilities- Oversee service center maintenance operations, spending 50 of the time on the floor and 50 in the office.
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance work without direct wrenching.
- Coordinate team schedules and update the General Manager and Vice President of Maintenance.
- Manage the service center shop consisting of 17 mechanics across three shifts.
- Utilize knowledge of corporate aircraft maintenance practices and shop structure to ensure efficient operations.
Essential Skills- A&P License
- 1+ years of experience as a Lead A&P Mechanic or higher in a large-cabin corporate Service Center environment.
- Eligible for FAA safety-sensitive hire.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience at a lead level or higher in a large corporate service center (Dassault, Bombardier, Embraer, Duncan, Textron, etc.) is highly preferred.
