As our MRO division continue to expand, we are looking for an additional Operations Manager, a member of the Singapore site leadership team to join the team. The role offers the right candidate high visibility and promising career progression prospects as the Singapore business prepare for the next phase of significant business growth. The right candidate should have a proven track record of delivering Operational results with strong execution ability to implement the strategy for long term growth and profitability. The individual should have a hands-on leadership style complemented with effective communication, planning and organizational skills. Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the operations team to execute the business plan to achieve the KPIs relating to HSE, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Develop and enhance the bench strength of the operations team at all levels to deliver consistent and predictable results with year-on-year improvement.
  • Drive HSE performance through proactive engagement and empowerment leading to HSE culture improvement.
  • Responsible for the achievement of operational results through effective deployment of resources to achieve KPIs (Lost Time Injury, Total Recordable Injury, Quality, Sales/OP, WIP optimization, expense control, Productivity)
  • Implement effective Total Productive Maintenance to optimize availability of the equipment.
  • Ensure effective implementation of the following processes: Headcount planning, skillset determination, hiring, people development/skills upgrading, business continuity planning and succession planning.
  • Engage and mentor the operations team and develop /instill a high-performance team culture.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years to 10 years of operations experience in MRO aerospace industry preferred.
  • Effective leadership characterized by focus on results, change management skillset, with strong determination to succeed.
  • Excellent time management with ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge/Application of lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Effective communication with stakeholders, including executive reporting/interaction at senior levels.

Education Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering in Engineering, Business Management or a relevant discipline. Diploma in a relevant discipline with demonstrated career progression in an Operations Management or Business Leadership role will be equally considered.
