Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Leads U.S. Payroll Service transition planning and serves as Aerospace business voice for quality delivery of multiple payroll processes, time & attendance, and related services.  Leads the organizational effort for the Aerospace business during the transition, define immediate and future support needs, service models and operational frameworks.  Provides leadership for transitional team during interim transitional period.  Manages transitional payroll queries from vendor, transition team, employees, managers and HRMs in a timely, and professional manner. Correctly administers transitional payroll processes. Manages service delivery metrics in relation to outsourced payroll. 
  • Oversees the management transition of documentation and communication of regional payroll programs, policies, and procedures. 
  • Manages the payroll transitional planning process in conjunction with third party providers including the calculation of wages, deductions, and payment of employees’ wages 
  • Ensures appropriate definition of payroll schedules, reconciliations, special processing planning and documentation of business and local requirements. 
  • Monitors regional markets for regulatory and local practice changes in labor law which may affect payroll processes. 
  • Manages transitional planning for regional market employee records such as tax documents and employee files for transitional purposes. 
  • Oversee and review preparation of reconciliation and reports for transitional purposes 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least nine years of relevant experience). 
  • Minimum of five years of specialized experience in payroll and time and attendance systems 
  • Workday payroll experience

  • Demonstrated skill in judgement to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems 
  • Established project management skills; ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs 
  • Demonstrated ability to transfer knowledge and develop others through coaching and mentoring
  • Ability to work independently by leading, guiding, and/or coordinating others and operating within a defined budget. 
  • Detail and numerical orientated with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of finance for business.

  • Good Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; quick adaptability to systems, tools, and processes 

Pay and Benefits:

  • The pay for this position is $111,100 - 185,200. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on February 23rd, 2024.
