The Platform Integration Program Manager, Associate Director will report to the Program Director within the Advanced Technology, Advanced Effectors and Space SSBU. The Platform Integration Program Manager is responsible for all activities associated with the start-up, execution and close-out of a $250M+ missile integration program.
This position is onsite in Tucson, AZ.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for meeting contractual commitments including financial, technical, and schedule performance of assigned program(s) within contractual boundaries and company expectations.
- Display strong communication, influence management, and presentation skills with both internal and external customers
- Directs the performance of program task elements by developing program enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations such as contracts, finance, procurement, manufacturing, quality control, logistics, and administrative functions.
- Establishes standards and an executable program baseline using the approved business model (RLPM) and management tools.
- Supports the program risk and opportunity process, in accordance with specific financial goals and obligations.
- Execute daily program management and cadence i.e., risk review boards, customer reviews, failure review boards, program reviews such as Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and staffing, and decision reviews to achieve contract commitments
- Preparing, revising, updating and monitoring required documentation and analysis in compliance with contract requirements, Raytheon Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM) such as Gate reviews, Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Corporate and Business policies and procedures.
- Capturing and tracking program actions and working with action owners to ensure timely closure of actions.
- Identify and implement key program assessments and metrics to lead development of situational awareness charts and performance assessments to enable program success drivers by program leadership teams.
- Raytheon Program Management Level 3 Certification, or equivalent or ability to achieve within 1 year.
- Ability to travel approximately 10.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
- Program management or project management experience
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in engineering or development programs
- Experience managing technical, cost, and schedules
- Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start
Qualifications We Prefer
- Program Management Level 3 Certification, or equivalent
- Experience developing and reviewing cost proposals and synthesizing Gate 4 and Gate 5 packages for Management Review and approval
- Equivalent experience as a CAM
- Experience using financial analysis tools and experience with project management tools and/or systems
- Prior experience supporting development, production and/or sustainment programs, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry
- Working knowledge of commercial contract formation and execution
- Experience conducting international business and cross-cultural communication
- Demonstrated experience with commercial contracts management
- Product lifecycle management experience
- Proficiency with Program Management tool suite or similar systems
- Prior experience and application of Defense Acquisition processes

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
