None/Not RequiredWe’re looking for a proactive, strategic Procurement Manager to lead a major supply chain transformation for our Seating business at Collins Aerospace. This onsite role in Medley, FL puts you at the center of operations—driving performance, developing talent, and implementing best in class supply chain processes.
You’ll lead a local team and provide dotted-line oversight to colleagues in China and the Philippines, improving supplier performance, managing supplier escalations, optimizing cost, and overseeing work transfers in a high mix / low volume environment.
Success in this role takes more than supply chain expertise—you’ll need strong communication, team leadership, and organizational skills to influence, motivate, and execute in a fast-paced, global setting.
This role may be eligible for relocation support.
What You Will Do:
Manages execution of processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement strategy, including RFPs, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, and/or program execution.
Directs programs for effective vendor selection and management with a view to minimize purchasing costs without compromising quality or reliability of supply.
Reviews changes in price trends and manufacturing processes and makes recommendations to ensure successful procurement process.
Manages escalations and resolution of internal customer issues or problems.
Monitors and coordinates suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.
Authorizes purchase orders, negotiates prices and approves payments to support the procurement process.
Analyzes and monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to help determine need for changes.
Responsible for overseeing supplier relationships and ensuring supplier performance.
Directs and manages all schedules, and purchase orders.
Ensures product is delivered on time, meets quality standards, and at the right cost.
Makes recommendation for process improvements.
May perform delivery assurance responsibilities and oversee material cost estimating functions.
Oversees team’s compliance documentation.
Ensures balance of supply/demand to meet targeted inventory levels.
25 travel required between responsible sites.
Basic Qualifications
Typically requires University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
At least five years of people leadership experience
ERP experience
Preferred Qualifications
Spanish as a second language
Experience in the Aerospace industry or other regulated environments (e.g., medical, automotive)
Background in manufacturing or operations environments
Demonstrated success in leading cost reduction initiatives
Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement / ACE knowledge /Six Sigma Green Belt
Proficiency in SAP and ability to navigate PLM systems
Hands-on operations experience

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
