Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Multi-Family Manager to support the E-7 UK team in Oklahoma City, OK!
The Procurement Multi-Family manager will lead a team consisting of Procurement Agents, Analysts and coordinators to support program execution. This manager will need to coordinate with other Supply Chain managers to successfully execute the work scope at the Oklahoma City, OK site.
Position Responsibilities:
- Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements
- Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- More than 5 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
- More than 3 years’ experience working with proposals, contracts, and/or contract terms
- Experience developing, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts under primes
- Experience developing and managing strong relationships with partners (internal & external), and suppliers
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- More than 5 years of experience drafting and executing supplier recovery plans
- More than 3 years’ experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)
- Experience working with a variety of subcontract types under DoD prime contracts
- Experience developing, negotiating and executing complex USG contracts and subcontracts under USG primes
- Experience executing against contract terms and conditions
- Experience with contracts with the US Department of Defense
- Experience working with suppliers and managing a supply base in a dynamic environment with frequent expedited procurement demands.
- Experience with supplier recoveries and leading through complex technical issues driving best solutions on behalf of our customers

Summary pay range: $102,850 – $127,050
