PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Procurement Project Manager to support critical ramp-up initiatives, transformation programs, and the industrial ecosystem within a leading aerospace manufacturing environment.
In this role, you will drive procurement strategy and execution across complex, cross-functional projects. You will ensure seamless coordination between global and regional teams, enabling efficient, high-quality aircraft production and delivery. Your work will directly influence operational success, cost performance, and long-term competitiveness.
What You’ll Do
Project Leadership (70)
Lead procurement workstreams across multiple projects, managing full lifecycle delivery
Coordinate with global and local stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution
Manage timelines, risks, budgets, and interdependencies across programs
Drive program strategy to meet product quality, delivery schedules, and financial targets (including P&L)
Develop and maintain detailed project reporting using enterprise tools
Analyze data to identify risks and opportunities, providing actionable insights to leadership
Escalate critical issues to senior management to maintain project momentum
Procurement Excellence & Transformation (30)
Drive compliance with procurement processes and best practices
Support change management initiatives within procurement operations
Resolve process and system-related challenges (SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, etc.)
Lead training and awareness initiatives for procurement and internal teams
Support deployment and optimization of procurement tools and systems
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred)
PMP certification
5–7+ years of experience in project management or related roles
Strong understanding of procurement processes, risk management, and business case analysis
Demonstrated success managing stakeholders in complex, global matrix organizations
Expertise in procurement tools and enterprise systems (SAP, Coupa, etc.)
Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Strong communication and leadership skills
Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
Fluency in French, German, and/or Spanish
Experience with Qlik Sense, Tableau, and Lean Business Improvement Projects (LBIP+)
Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace tools
Proven ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement
Work Environment
This is a 100 onsite position based in Mobile, AL, with regular interaction across office and production settings. The role requires the ability to work with standard office equipment and operate safely within a manufacturing environment using appropriate personal protective equipment.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $52.88 per hour
