Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for Product & Services Quality Managers (Level K) to support the IAS Quality Team based in Auburn, WA. This position will be for 1st or 2nd shift.
The Fabrication Quality Team is looking for self-motivated First Line Quality Leaders with a proven track record of driving change, inspiring others, and challenging the status quo in changing environments with shifting priorities. Strong transformational leadership skills are essential for fostering team engagement and guiding quality team members who demonstrate resilience and tenacity in implementing improvements within an established and regulated production and quality management system.
The selected candidates will be dependable and skilled professional adept at working effectively across diverse groups in a fast-paced, complex environment. They will excel in collaborating across organizational boundaries and implementing innovative solutions in response to changing circumstances.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads and manages a team of employees responsible for evaluating and ensuring that products, services, and processes meet customer contract requirements, engineering standards, company procedures, and government regulations
Develops and implements effective business plans, policies, and procedures aimed at enhancing performance and quality outcomes
Creates and executes organizational and technical strategies that promote continuous improvement and operational excellence
Provides education and coaching on the Quality System, empowering team members to understand and uphold quality standards
Acquires and manages resources efficiently, leading initiatives that drive process improvements and optimize performance
Builds and maintains strong relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports to foster collaboration and success
Inspires, develops, and motivates employees, cultivating a high-performance culture that embraces change and encourages professional growth
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in a production-related discipline such as Manufacturing, Quality, Production Engineering, Supplier Management, and/or Supplier Quality
5+ years of experience in Quality Management System (QMS)
5+ years of experience in leadership either formally or informally leading teams in a cross-functional environment
Experience with Project Management
Experience with CMES Common Manufacturing Execution System
Must be able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in a factory environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
Experience in root cause analysis/systematic problem solving
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
High energy and enthusiasm for driving cultural change and improvement
Solid business acumen with a proven ability to develop and execute successful strategies

Summary Pay Range: $115,600 - $156,400
