Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of Retail Systems projects, serving as the primary point of contact for all internal business and technology partners including Services, Shop Portfolio, PSS, Distribution, Contact Centers, Loyalty, Pricing and Revenue Management, and Alliances, and actively leading any Retail Systems requirements, testing, and support throughout the entire project cycle.
  • Manage the business relationship with external vendors and airline/GDS partners including Google ITA, Accelya, and various airline partners and serve as the primary point of contact for all communication, prioritization, and development
  • Develop, implement, and maintain business and technical requirements for Retail Systems new functionality or enhancements
  • Develop, implement, and maintain on-going shopping business rules with respect to all Retail Systems offers
  • Establish and maintain expert knowledge of digital products and services
  • Monitor various reporting tools to identify and drive improvements related to reliability and availability issues

QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Practical experience in the development and implementation of new products
  • Extensive experience managing and communicating cross-functionally with both technical and business teams
  • Strong ability to communicate ideas to Senior Management
  • Extensive working knowledge of current airline policy and procedures, fares/pricing, and availability required
  • Pricing and Revenue Management experience required
  • Airline shopping/pricing systems or e-commerce experience required
  • GDS SHARES experience preferred
  • Skilled in XML preferred
  • Track record of outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize a range of responsibilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well with others
