Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a
Product Manager / Owner – Simulation Control Station (d/f/m)
Our department develops top notch, high fidelity Engineering and Training Simulations for a variety of aircrafts, supporting the entire development lifecycle. We are looking for a product manager / owner for the control stations of our simulators. In addition to the overall simulation control, these stations are also used for instructing and debriefing training sessions. As you drive the successful delivery of this product to the customers, you will also continuously evolve the product vision and roadmap.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Define and communicate product vision & roadmap
Gather customer needs, and communicate those into the development team
Plan system & software engineering, integration and verification activities
Prioritize product features and maintain product backlog
Ensure product delivery to customers on time within budget
Manage external suppliers and subcontractors
Monitor, evaluate and report progress and customer feedback to stakeholders
Desired skills and qualifications
Bachelor or higher degree in computer science, aeronautical engineering, or relevant field. Master’s degree preferred.
Proven experience in product management or product ownership roles, preferably in the aerospace or simulation industry.
Strong technical background with a solid understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to define and implement a product vision and to drive the successful product delivery.
Experience in managing external suppliers and subcontractors.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to efficiently collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Proactive mindset with results-oriented problem-solving skills
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
