Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a Product and Service Quality Manager in Zhoushan, China.
We are seeking for an individual that has knowledge or could be adapted into the Boeing QMS and Value, has strong leadership trait and have knowledge and experience about aircraft delivery, records and is customer oriented.
This position also requires someone who can hold the position of Airworthiness Releaser (AWR) for the CFR 14 Part 125 operating certificate. This manager will be reporting to a senior quality manager supporting site activities.
Position Responsibilities
Will make Aircraft Releases as a Part 125 AMT on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies.
Performing as an Applicant for ODA Recurrent Ticketing activities for the 737 MAX aircraft.
Develop and maintain relationships, partnerships and communication with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports
Develop and execute business plans, policies and procedures and develop organizational and technical strategies to improve performance
Provides education, coaching and review of Quality Management System
Make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Must have a current FAA Airframe and Power plant (A&P) License and available on request.
1+ years’ experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change
5+ years of experience with 14 CFR parts 43, 65, 91, 121, 125 and/or 145
Demonstrates strong customer-facing skills and collaborates effectively with cross‑functional teams with minimal supervision.
5+ years of flight line experience and/or MRO including airworthiness or maintenance release of aircraft
Willing to work with flexibilities, including weekends and overtime.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience working on B737 Max Product.
1+ years of experience working directly with airline customers.
Working knowledge of Dispatch Deviation Guides (MEL, CDL)
Experience with Boeing QMS, ARL and CQS
CAAC Maintenance Personal License (English Level 4) with valid 737 type rating or equivalent
737NG/MAX General Familiarization “GenFam” class
Deep knowledge of airplane avionics systems
