Arconic is currently in search of a Night Shift Production Supervisor to join our Kawneer - Building and Construction Systems business in Cranberry Township, PA.
The schedule would be 6pm-6am, rotating days off. Week 1, youd work three twelve-hour days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday). Week 2 youd work four twelve-hour days (continuing to work from the previous Saturday to work Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday). Then it repeats. Youd be off Saturday-Monday then return to work on Tuesday at 6pm.

The Production Supervisor position is the first level of authority for the departments they oversee - providing leadership, coaching and clear direction to ensure people are working safely, meeting customer demand, quality, solving problems, eliminating waste, and meeting goals. This position operates as a “shift supervisor” for all the departments working the 6pm-6am schedule rotation they are on. Each department has a daylight supervisor who will give you the general direction for the workload to be completed overnight. This role reports to the Building Operations Manager.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead by example, specifically with regard to the Arconic Values, EHS and HR policies
- Ensure each department on the shift are achieving their nightly goals
- Back up the department supervisors as needed to complete employee discipline, reviews, feedback, etc
- Ensure the safety and health of the employees
- Engage employees in department initiatives
- Support implementation of policies and procedures and recommend improvements in working conditions
- Responsible for problem analysis and resolution showing improved process optimization
- Guarantee and follow-up on investigations of scraps with the quality department
- Responsible to guarantee the integrity of the system transactions on JDE
- Implement, maintain and improve processes that will prevent EHS incidents
- Communicate and follow up with managers on daily/weekly/monthly requirements
- Communicate with other production and support departments (Quality, Engineering, PC, HR, etc.);
- Other duties as needed to meet business objectives
Key Objectives
- Supervise to support achievement of all shift goals in alignment with the plant business case (e.g. IFE, TRR, DART, Human Performance, OTIF, WCR, Operational Productivity, Labor efficiency, OEE, Inventory, Budget, Quality, etc.)
- Support lean manufacturing actions established for the department with the Building Operations Manager
- Review production schedules, staffing requirements and make decisions in order to guarantee the productivity of the area during the shift
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- 3 years manufacturing experience
- 1 year supervisory experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution
- Supervisory experiences in a manufacturing environment
- Bilingual - English and Spanish

This location has continuously built our products here since the early 1970s and we have a long legacy of products we’ve manufactured including the windows for the crown of the Statue of Liberty.
