STS Technical Services is hiring a Program Manager in Stafford, Virginia. This role serves as the primary interface for loitering unmanned aerial drone programs with government stakeholders, executive management, and industry partners, ensuring alignment with customer priorities and operational strategy.
Position Summary
The Program Manager will lead program execution across engineering, production, quality, supply chain, and procurement. This role requires strong leadership, proven DoD contract management experience, and the ability to drive technical, financial, and compliance objectives. The Program Manager will represent UVision USA with customers and partners, ensuring successful delivery of advanced unmanned aerial systems.
Responsibilities
Program Execution & Leadership
- Lead cross-functional Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) across engineering, production, quality, supply chain, procurement, and development
- Define project scope, milestones, and KPIs in collaboration with internal stakeholders, government customers, research labs, and industry partners
- Ensure alignment with customer priorities and UVision’s integrated operations strategy
- Represent UVision USA with the PMO, government agencies, and subcontractors
Budget & Contract Management
- Lead budget planning, cost analysis, and contract management in accordance with DoD acquisition guidelines (FAR/DFARS)
- Manage program budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost reduction strategies
- Oversee subcontractor performance, vendor coordination, and procurement activities
Technical & Strategic Oversight
- Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate and integrate new technologies into program solutions
- Ensure technical deliverables meet program requirements and customer expectations
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the program lifecycle
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with DoD acquisition regulations, export control laws, and internal policies
- Identify and mitigate program risks; develop and implement contingency plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field required
- 5+ years of experience managing DoD contracts and programs required
- Proven experience in budget management, contract execution, and vendor/subcontractor oversight
- Strong understanding of DoD acquisition processes, including FAR/DFARS
- Demonstrated success in leading Integrated Project Teams and cross-functional collaboration
- PMP Certification preferred
- Experience with drones, UAVs, or aircraft strongly preferred
