Description:This position is for a Program Manager Associate Manager position who will be responsible for managing day to day activities of LM-SBF Development Programs and Transition to Production programs including oversight of cost, schedule, contract requirements and program execution. The Associate PM will oversee development, transition to production program execution, lead Integrated Product Team meetings, Lead proposal activities and input for new business capture efforts, and be responsible for customer interface and communication to program teams.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be comfortable leading a wide variety of technical projects with consideration for cost and schedule requirements.
- Must have the desire and ability to learn the technology and lead a highly technical team of engineers.
- Project and Program Management experience required.
- Must be willing to travel to customer, supplier, and end user facilities.
- Must have communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of personnel and internal and external customers.
- Innovative problem solver that can resolve issues
- Knowledge on project and program management methodology and techniques.
- Understanding of program execution and how program performance effects business operations.
- Ability to accomplish business / program goals without day to day direction / tasking.
- Working knowledge of program cost/scheduling tools (Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, SAP, etc.).
- Knowledge on budgeting an financial analysis
- Active Secret DoD clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with the development and manufacturing of IR sensors, LIDAR and associated technologies for military, scientific and/or commercial sensing applications.
- Program management experience managing complex technology development programs, transition to production, and production programs.
- Experience in managing programs with subcontracts key to program performance.
- Knowledge on earned value management and resource allocation.
- Ability to communicate across multiple disciplines to provide leadership and vision for the program.
- Motivational, mentorship, and negotiation skills necessary to achieve program performance.
- Ability to engage and build relationship with peers, customers, and critical stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Top secret clearance with an investigation within 5 years.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $105,000 - $201,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
