Responsible for assigned Programs and Program Work Scope. Assures customer satisfaction and expectations while maintaining company objectives. Acts as an advisor to subordinates, supervisors or staff members to meet schedulesor resolve technical or operational problems. Rarely involved in daily operational activities. More concerned with overall budgets, schedules and performance standards are realistically set and attained.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Manage and coordinate with Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Managers to ensure compliance.
2. All assigned Program Workflow for the team.
3. Problem-solve and coordinate with all departments as affected (AVX, Paint, Interior, Sales, Quoting, and QA).
4. Tooling/test equipment and associated upkeep, control and calibration.
5. Establishing, reviewing, and communicating hiring needs and selections.
6. Administer employee performance reviews and disciplinary measures as required.
7. Directly responsible for assigned program P&L performance and reporting.
8. Completion of work order squawks and informing billing manager.
9. Ensuring completion of internal and external training requirements.
10. Preparation and resolution from internal and external audits.
11. Aircraft delivery.
12. Must adhere to the current and future company policies, safety guidelines, aviation procedures, and work in a professional manner.
13. This position has overall department management responsibility. The position involves indirect supervisory responsibilities.

Supervisory Accountabilities:

• 2-3 Team Leads, 15-25 employees

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
• Technical training in aviation field.
• Education to meet licenses required 5-7 years in aircraft interiors preferred.
• Some supervisory experience required.

Communication Skills:

• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with other personnel.

Mathematical Skills:

• Basic math skills.

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• A & P License desired

Computer Skills:

• Basic computer aptitude preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
• Occasional periods of walking, sitting, rotation, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
• Occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs, and frequently lifting up to 10 lbs.

Work Environment:

• Frequent exposure to general shop conditions, engine noise.
• Frequent exposure to aircraft exhaust, moving mechanical parts, lubricants, metals, and solvents.
• Frequent exposure to seasonal weather.
