None/Not RequiredAs the Program Operations Manager, you will act at the responsible point of contact for the products within the assigned Value Stream(s) for production planning, supply chain, production, quality, and logistics to meet program milestones, successfully transition product to the factory, support on-time delivery of high-quality products, support rate-readiness activities, and achieve cost and sales targets.
Establish key elements of strategic and tactical operation plans
Ability to proactively manage project/program schedule and budget and mitigate risks
Ability to collaborate and manage cross functional teams to achieve required contractual and project deadlines
Ability to manage product lines remote from physical work location
Ability to review and determine required policies and procedures that are required to be followed to execute internal projects/programs
Accountable for material procurement and end item on time completion to meet contracted dates
Effective and accurate Cost Account Management of assigned project budget
Ensure effective communication (written and oral) via status reports to program, customer and functional management in accordance with program communication plan and processes
Drive use of leading/lagging metrics in the monitoring of progress against plan and evaluation of root cause and implementation of corrective actions in support of a continuous improvement
Will require frequent interface with various customers and senior leaders
Entails a candidate with strong leadership skills and the ability to convey effective direction using strong written and verbal skills

Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
Prior experience in an Operations organization or in interfacing with Operations organization on a recurring basis
Experience in financial, manufacturing, material planning, Earned Value Management
Strong analytical skills required for accurate material and manufacturing planning systems and government programs are key traits
Experience working MRP systems
Drive Continuous Improvement projects - CORE, 6 Sigma and other Lean Manufacturing processes
Experience working in SAP systems
Strong computer skills using MS Project, and MS Office products is highly desired
Proactive mindset with ability to strategically mitigate risk and find opportunities
Robust verbal and written communication skills and be a self-starter able to operate independently with no oversight

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
