Program Scheduler - Aerospace & Defense

$65.38-$81.72/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and integration of complex project schedules using industry best practices to ensure on-time and within-scope program delivery.

• Analyze, maintain, and manage integrated program plans, timelines, risk assessments, variance analysis, and baseline change impacts.

• Conduct trend and impact studies, develop mitigation plans, and refine business cases to support schedule optimization.

• Drive cross-functional coordination across engineering, production, and program leadership to align schedules with resource and delivery objectives.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, facilitating planning sessions and ensuring clear communication of requirements and objectives.

• Support the full project lifecycle—from planning and inception through execution, monitoring, and completion—on major programs or their subsystems.

• Coordinate commitments with internal and external teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and customer expectations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field and 10+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 8+ years of experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

• Proficiency in Open Plan Professional (OPP) project scheduling software is required.

• Proven expertise in value management and earned value management systems (EVMS).

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for schedule and data analysis.
