REPORTING TO Manager, Base Maintenance (MMOB)
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESAccountable for end-to-end planning, management & on time delivery of the check. Team interface to Customer, Commercial and all supporting department within MAB Engineering. Manage Customer service level, Project cost and product quality.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS- To manage the TAT according to the project timeline for on-time delivery.
- To motivate the team to excel and achieve project goals.
- To manage budget and overall profitability of the project.
- To review regulatory and authority requirement, initiate capability build up and to ensure the required quality and regulatory standards are maintained.
- To coordinate with Production Planning Control (PPC) and other department at pre-planning stage including package review, capacity, resource planning, equipment, and tooling availability.
- To conduct daily progress meeting with the customer.
- To conduct daily aircraft operation meeting and liaise with check foreman and other supporting department on operational issues.
- To review Additional Work Requests (AWR) arising from Customer request and work package, obtain Customer acceptance and manage the execution.
- To coordinate with Supply Chain Management (SCM) for spare availability and delivery
- To manage customer expectations and service delivery levels.
- To update the aircraft check status to Customer and MAB Engineering management.
- To escalate and resolve project management issues in a timely manner.
- To coordinate with other Section / Department heads for supports and recovery plan.
- To coordinate billing process and conclude “Over & Above” with Customer.
- To coordinate and manage the post-mortem activities to ensure corrective actions are carried out.
- To carry out any other task as directed by his/her superior.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE- Holder of aircraft maintenance license acceptable to CAAM and/or Degree in Engineering/Business Administration or other relevant studies.
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in the airline engineering industry, with 1 - 2 years’ experience in leadership role in a Part 145 environment.
Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft and component maintenance management and familiar with regulatory requirements.
