As a Project Manager Business Intelligence at KLM Engine Services, you will have ample opportunity to make an impact with data. You will report hierarchically to the DT&CI Unit Leader and functionally to the Project Manager Data Integrity.
As Project Manager Business Intelligence, you are responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining dashboards containing operational information and KPIs within Engine Services. You will work closely with management and ensure that all required information is presented in a clear and structured way, contributing to our data-driven ambition.
In addition, we highly value your creativity and skills in building quick, valuable business solutions using low-code applications.
Your key responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining dashboards with operational and management information and KPIs for Engine Services;
Analyzing data and translating it into actionable insights for various departments within Engine Services;
Collaborating with the E&M Data Availability team to build data pipelines from our data sources to the cloud;
Continuously improving dashboards and implementing new developments in the field of Business Intelligence;
Developing Proof of Concepts and managing low-code applications.
Your base location will be Schiphol-Oost, in Building 410, where Engine Services is located. Engine Services is one of the three units within Engineering & Maintenance and focuses on engine maintenance and component repairs.
You will become part of the Data Management & Analytics team within the Data, Transformation & Continuous Improvement department, which works on digitalization, data management and analytics, process improvements, and sustainability initiatives.
You have a strong analytical mindset and are always looking for improvements. You switch easily between tasks and have a proactive attitude. With your strong communication skills, you are able to clearly convey information to colleagues at all levels of the organization.
Completed HBO or WO degree in a relevant field (Economics, Finance, Business Information Management, Technical Business Administration, Business IT / Analytics);
At least 2 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Specialist or Data Analyst;
Proven knowledge of Power BI and Power Apps (experience with GCP and SAP is a plus);
Experience writing queries in SQL and/or Python;
Experience creating dimensional data models (e.g., using UML; relational modeling is a plus);
Ability to gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional, concrete data requirements;
Experience with agile methodologies (such as Scrum);
Strong motivation to make an impact within the aviation industry;
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with various stakeholders and remain focused on results;
Ability to translate technical requirements into usable insights for a diverse audience;
Critical and eager-to-learn mindset regarding what is requested and what is delivered;
Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English;
