JOB SUMMARY:
The Fire Systems Project Manager role is to direct and coordinate activities for assigned sections of the Security Department’s scope of responsibilities. The position will be required to continually build a fire systems knowledge base that enables effective leadership and forward-thinking.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
I. Perform fire systems maintenance processes such as procurement and invoicing, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and contractor management
II. Oversee fire systems activities within area of responsibility
a. Establish priorities and leverages fire systems resources to completion of tasks
b. Responsible for meeting assigned schedule, cost and quality goals
III. Responsible for company, and departmental, safety and housekeeping audits, checking on workmanship, efficiencies, safe working conditions and methods, and compliance with work orders
IV. Attend, participate, and lead department meetings for items such as general communications, resolving departmental problems (scheduling, quality, etc.) and planning for work execution
V. Coordinate with peers and/or contractors for service work in line with schedules regulatory requirements
VI. Administer and oversee contract services for security/fire operations
VII. Lead security/fire projects a. CAR project oversite and completion b. Maintain effective communication and progress reports on all active projects c. Strategic planning and audit processes
VIII. Recommend, coordinate, and execute cost saving measures for assigned area ofresponsibility
IX. Communicate with customers on fire systems related issues, and provide feedback on status and requirements needed to address any on-going issues
